Sommardal / Locki
The Sommardal community house is owned by Illby Ungdomsförening r.f. and Illby Frivilliga brandkår r.f. The house was built through joint community efforts in 1933 and it is part of a nationally significant built cultural environment (RKY).
Premises and equipment
Sommardal is suitable for various events and celebrations. Weddings, christenings, birthdays, family gatherings, dances, memorial services, meetings, theatre and courses. We have a new kitchen, renovated toilets, new air-source heat pumps, and municipal water and sewage. There is a large yard area directly in front of the building.
According to the rescue plan, the premises accommodate 300 people. In recent years we have had approximately 100 dining guests at the same time and this has been completely comfortable.

No sleeping accommodation.
Price
Fri–Sun entire property 400€, Fri–Sun buffet space 250€, for meetings 50€ each, otherwise by agreement, depends on whether tablecloth laundry, cleaning, etc. are available/included.
Parking
The parking lot fits about 40–50 cars.
Catering
Own catering allowed.
Cleaning
The customer cleans up after the party or as agreed.
Local transport
Along the Loviisa road towards Porvoo, there are still some bus services, you should google Loviisa-Porvoo. The nearest train station is in Helsinki. The distance from Sommardal to the Loviisa road is approximately 800m.
