The heart of the village
Backdala has served as the community house in Backgränd since 1928, when the building was moved from Antskog, where it had functioned as the workers’ association hall. It is a solid log building with a reasonably spacious hall, a large stage, a buffet area, a kitchen and two toilets.
Premises and equipment
The building has tables, chairs and tableware for at least 80 people. The kitchen is well equipped with two electric stoves, a microwave oven and a large coffee maker that can brew 50–100 cups. High-chairs for children and a potty are also available.
The building has a fibre connection providing access to fast wireless internet. In the hall, there is a permanently installed video projector and a large screen.

The tenant is primarily responsible for cleaning. Full or partial cleaning services are available by agreement.

The venue is best reached by own car (approx. 9 km from Karjaa centre).
