The community house Åsvalla was built in 1911 through voluntary community efforts so that the association, founded in 1906, would have a place to gather for various social occasions and celebrations. Even today, Åsvalla, with its idyllic surroundings remains a popular venue for weddings, christenings, birthdays for both adults and children, corporate parties, concerts and similar events.
Premises and equipment
- tables and chairs for 80–100 people, one high-chair
- serving room with a large serving table
- tableware for about 80 people
- well-equipped kitchen with two electric stoves and a refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker and electric kettle
- the accessible toilet is equipped with a potty and a baby changing table
- a video projector is available
According to the rescue plan, a maximum of 150 people may be present in the building at the same time.

No sleeping accommodation.
Price
Price list for renting Åsvalla as of January 1st, 2024:
Day price 8 AM – midnight including kitchen and tableware 320.00 eur
Price/hour including kitchen and tableware 45.00 eur / h
Party package: the day before from 16, the day of the event until midnight (01), the following day until 12, 500.00 eur
Tablecloth for the serving table 25.00 eur
Sound system 50.00 eur
Members can rent at a discounted price, provided they have held a membership for a longer period.
Parking
Parking space for about 20 cars is available in the yard.
Catering
Own catering allowed.
Cleaning
Primarily the tenant takes care of the cleaning themselves. Full or partial cleaning service is available, full cleaning 200 €, partial cleaning 100 €.
Local transport
The best way to reach Åsvalla is by private car. The nearest bus stop is located on Storlojogatan.
